A Beam Of Light In The Night

Well, I have been using Mr Beams Under Counter Light for a few
weeks now. I have tried it in a few different places in my house. The
first place was in my bedroom under a shelf on my triple dresser
(Photo showing mounting bracket under my dresser shelf). This
took a little moving and trial and error to get it where I wanted it to
work for me. I did get it set so when I walked into my bedroom it
turned on before I walked into any furniture. I also wanted it to turn
on when I got out of bed also, which I got to work also. I was
impressed with the sensitivity of the electronic eye. The only thing I
could not prevent was the light turning on when any of my pets
walked by, I tried to shim it and move it to different locations with n
luck. I would suggest a adjustable sensor, either screw type or cog
type for micro adjustments to be able to set the height and side to
side adjustments. Besides that, I am really impressed with the
operation. I moved it to the hallway about 7 feet off the floor and
again it worked as I wanted it to. It came on when I turned the
corner from either my dining room or my kitchen to light my way in
an otherwise dark area. It is much better than turning on the
hallway light at 3 or 4 in the morning and waking up the rest of the
house with bright lights.I then moved it to what is going to be the
permanent location for the Mr Beam Under Cabinet light. I moved it
to under a cabinet in my kitchen, where it's main job is to light up
some of the hallway and the kitchen area. My roommate loves it,
and so do I!  This Mr Beam Under Counter Light does a much better
job of holding the light than anyone could ever dream of doing with
a flash light!  ;)

The Band:
Paul McCartney - Vocals, Bass
John Lennon - Vocals, Guitar
George Harrison - Vocals Guitar
Ringo Starr - Drums
Peter Best - Drums

Notes:
"Beatles Bop" is a lavish box set reissue of a fairly small number of recordings that have been released before, namely the 1961-62 recordings of the Beatles (with Pete Best, not yet Ringo) in recording studios in Germany as a backup band for Liverpool singer Tony Sheridan. The Beatles themselves had nothing to do with this reissue, but Beatlemaniacs will be impressed with the thoroughness with which this collection was made!!!!

Tony Sheridan - Vocals
Roy Young - Piano
Colin Melander - Bass
Ricki Barnes - Saxophone
Jimmy Doyle/Johnny Watson - Drums

The Beatles recorded a version with Tony Sheridan on 24 May 1962, but it hasn't survived. All versions released are the same recording. Much has been made of the idea that the saxophone part could have been overdubbed later (or that someone else could have been in in the studio at the time to play it); but it's a telling point that saxophone and piano both feature on the existing recording and the original 1961 recording. And no guitars...

Note:
This is one of the many versions of The Beatles Star Club Era. I have quite a few and all have there own unique sounds as The Fab Four spent many a night in the red light districts Famous Star Club!
Most of the cuts on here are from there trouble making (Pre-RingoTimes). They finished the last night in Hamburg Germany with a bang. But who could have stayed out of trouble back then in the "red light" district of Hamburg. Needless to say the Beatles made it all the way out of Germany and back to England Unscathed!! They then Found Ringo after dumping Peter Best as drummer, and the rest is history!

Another version of the Hamburg recordings, recorded live at The Star Club on New Years Eve, 1962. It's usually assumed that Horst Fascher is singing but it's in fact his brother Fred Fascher.Horst sings on "Hallelujah I Love Her So" (according to Sulpy and Gottfridsson). The two Hamburg Performances of A Taste Of Honey feature many resemblances yet they are completely different.
They both feature one of the boys (John ? Ringo ?) singing "Ba Ba Ba Ba Ba Ba Ba Ba Baaa" before the song.
They both feature private jokes by the Beatles or the audience during the song and at one time (on the unedited version) this makes Paul laughing while singing.
However, the two versions are completely different because one of these has an extra verse that is unique on all the survived versions of the song.

This version is in fact an edit of two (or more ?) versions.
The spoken introduction by Paul is completely different than on the unedited version although some parts are common to both versions.

Upcoming Auction Featuring: "The Beatles" First Known Recording "The Beatles Live At the Hamburg Star Club 1962" Original Master Copy Safety, Gold Album Award, 2 Album Record Set w/Letter From Producer.

It does not take Einstein to establish Misterclaudel's source for this release, after all they have given credit to Purple Chick on the inner sleeve. They were however not as graceful in their prerelease or subsequent 'blog's as to the quality of Purple Chick and other fan related releases or indeed 'free' music which I find very amusing.

Shortly after Purple Chicks release , some new material was located and three tracks where swiftly altered and alternate discs, data files and artwork were released, I have not yet been able to clarify which source Misterclaudel have used for their upgrade.

The CD label contains the following: "All selections courtesy of Lee, Larry, & Michael Halpern. Digitally remastered by Lauren W. Hasten.
Hully Gully is performed by Cliff Bennet & Rebel Rousers - date unknown! This is NOT the Beatles. It features a saxophone and the vocals are clearly none of the Beatles.

The Beatles Hamburg tapes were recorded by Adrian Barber on a mono Grundig reel-to-reel tape recorder using a hand-held microphone. Ted “Kingsize” Taylor, a Liverpool singer who sung with the Dominos, encouraged him to make the recordings.  After Beatlemania, Taylor offered them to Brian Epstein, but he would only offer as much as £20 for them as he felt they had no commercial value.  They then disappeared until 1972 when they were found under piles of rubbish by Allan Williams who had managed the Beatles before Brian.

Ringo Starr - Drums
Peter Best - Drums

This had a brief legal release in 1991.
The CD label contains the following: "All selections courtesy of Lee, Larry, & Michael Halpern. Digitally remastered by Lauren W. Hasten. 1991 Sony Music Entertainment Inc. Sony Music Special Productions /Manufactured by Columbia Records."
Hully Gully is performed by Cliff Bennet & Rebel Rousers - date unknown! This is NOT the Beatles. It features a saxophone and the vocals are clearly none of the Beatles.

Star club recordings
Although The Star-Club was born in Hamburg in 1962 the echoes of its success continue to reverberate worldwide throughout today’s rock and pop music. Under the guidance of Horst Fascher himself, Star-Club TV is the legitimate successor of the original Star-Club and still boasts the original logo.
Featured in the film are interviews with Colin Hanton, Len Garry and Rod Davis, three original members of the "Pre-Beatles" - John Lennon’s 1950s group "The Quarrymen" to which Paul McCartney and George Harrison both belonged.
The film also includes newly discovered photos, which have lain hidden since July 1957, of the “Day John Met Paul” at the St Peter’s Church Fete in Woolton, Liverpool, together with live footage of a modern-day concert by the remaining Quarrymen and the sound of their first new single for over 50 years - "Never stop Rockin’ ‘n’ Rollin’".
For more information about Star-Club TV and dates and times of television showings of "The Quarrymen - The Band that started The Beatles"”, please visit: www.Star-Club-TV.de
First showing of the German language version: Sunday 14 June 2009 at 8 pm on Volksmusik TV.

Notes:
Declicked, denoised, pitch, phase and levels corrected from the 1988 LP on Rubber Soul B4A / B4B.

This is sort of a Greatest Hits for the SAPCOR series, as it was assembled by the same person and issued with the same labels. It collects a number of fairly common tracks, some a bit scarcer than others, although you'd need a stack of vinyl to compile them. The speed of each track was over a semitone fast or slow, and the levels were all over the place. All are fixed now.

I have taken the liberty here of attempting to improve upon Tracks 14 & 15. The right channel was bright but the left channel was dull. I equalized the left three different times to bring up the treble to something resembling the other channel. It seems to have worked quite well, as after EQ, pitch and phase correction, the tracks sound almost perfect now, even with the odd stereo mix.

The record comes with its own unique track - Beatles In The Studio. It's merely a compilation of snippets of different rarities, provided by the person who made the record.

The Beatles Hell! 2008 Apple Corpse

After releasing the hugely successful HATE 18 months ago, Pete ’Best’ Zarustica and The Beatles decided it was time for another round of remixes to protest against the war… and that’s just what you get!

Tracks:
01-Hell
02-Ticket To Ride
03-You're Gonna Bruise That Girl
04-Got To Get You Under My Knife
05-Sell Me What You See
06-I've Just Seen An Evil Face
07-Hell Terskelter
08-Magical Hystery Tour
09-Helleanor Rigid
10-Mic'Hell
11-Blaming Madonna
12-Act Diabolically
13-Hell'O Goodbye

Notes:
The Beatles' HELL comes to serve the world with classic tunes remixed for your listening pleasure. The Fab-Four poets of Limbo – or Liverpool – decided to pay a visit to HELL, like Prince William and loads of other soldiers who are still fighting this ludicrous war in the Middle-East. They took a ticket to ride in the same circles Dante described TR-708 years ago, but didn’t enjoyed it - in fact they regret it. Buy you can enjoy this trip (and it is a trip) downloading NOW their latest LP, The Beatles' HELL, yeah!

The Beatles Hate 2006 Apple Corpse

Sir George Master Five and Pete Best Zarustica

On Sept 11, U.S. General Petraeus kept a straight face when he told Congress that America was winning the war in Iraq. The general used phrases like although improvements in Iraq were "uneven", violence had declined significantly since the surge began in February. Uh... sure. Time to pull out this mashup from December 2006. War is peace and hate is love.

Tracks:
01-Intro-Revolution 23
02-Drive My War
03-Tomorrow Never Blows
04-Day Reaper
05-From Me To Whom?
06-Bomb Together
07-What's The New Sarah Jane
08-I'm Nuking Through You
09-Lovely Retard
10-You've Got To Hide Your Hate Away
11-Horny Pie
12-Why?
13-Buddy Girl
14-Sadness Is A War Gun
15-War Fields Forever

When Danger Mouse mashed up Jay-Z's Black album in 2004 and showcased his efforts on the internet, the resulting Grey Album was probably one of the highlights of the year in cyberspace. Now come Sir George Master Five and Pete Best Zarustica with The Beatles Hate project.

Offered at the end of 2006, we recently managed to get a copy of the songs. This is what the duo stated on their website (www.thebeatleshate.com):

"The most expected release since the Black Album. After being asked by the remaining Beatles to make experimental remixes from their master tapes, Sir George Master Five and the former drummer Pete Best Zarustica spent seven entire days planning this record, that for the first time in the fab-four history expresses HATE for the war, for the USA, and for everyone that supports this stupid act.

"The results are fantastic. Picture B-Movies soundtracks with Bristol's nightlife. Sound textures that have never been heard before, noise, and unique breakbeats. This is HATE, an album to despise."

They even had the following quotes:

"A masterpiece. It made me feel like the day I died, in that silly conversible, in India."
Paul McCartney

"The truth is that Pete has always been a better drummer that I am. F^ck him, I'm a movie star."
Ringo Starr

As music fan Andrew Cowen commented on his blog: "It's the dark side of the Love album, taking samples from bootlegs and welding them to a much darker worldview. It lacks the gloss of the Martins' effort but makes up for it in many other ways."

File this together with Give Peace A Chance and Happy Xmas (War Is Over).

This is a rare set to find, it was done in Australia. This was pretty much the set The Beatles play on a 20 concert tour around Australia. This particular set was done at Festival Hall, the final stop in Melbourne. This was specially recorded through modern microphones to reduce audience noise. This concert was first aired on the National Television Network earlier in the month of June. It was done through special arrangements with GTV-9, Aztec Services Pty. Ltd. and Stadium Ltd. The Beatles play to a packed house of 8000 screaming fans. Now I did my magic work on it also and gave it some more highs, mids and lows with the EQ adjustments. So sit back and enjoy as the fans did almost 50 years ago!
